If you’re equal parts creative and organized, a career in event management could be  a great choice for you. Event planners typically have backgrounds in marketing, communications, logistics, or a similar field.

Event planners can serve in several capacities. They can work within an agency, providing services to clients on a contract basis. They can work independently and provide services like wedding planning with a great deal of autonomy.
